My family and I have been a long, loyal Testwood Chef customer for over 20 years!!! I arrived early when the shop opens at 5pm, I was preparing to wait outside the shop, but the lady saw me and opened up early for me. The level of friendliness is on another level. I was the first customer of the evening and the food not only looks amazing but taste exceptional! I had to snap a few pictures!! I ordered Cod, Small Chips, Curry Sauce and Pea Fritter which felt like a bargain compared to other places I've been to. The small chips portions is huge and the price is amazing! The curry sauce is a must try and I always come back for more. The Chinese is also a must try! I normally order House Special Chow Mein, Spare Ribs Peking Style, Crispy Shredded Beef with Chilli and Carrots, it's absolutely devine! The portion size is amazing, I eat it in two days. The good thing is the container is microwavable, so put the food in the fridge and microwave it the next day it still taste gold. The best Fish&Chips and Chinese takeaway in Totton!!!

Best Fish and Chips I’ve had!!! I live 25 mins drive away as there isn’t any good Fish and Chips around my area. My friend recommended me Testwood Chef, saying it’s the best fish and chips shop in the area, it’s worth every drive there. Well he wasn’t wrong! The food is scrumptious, great attentive service and staff makes atmosphere very friendly. The Cod was really nice, had a lovely crisp but light batter, portions size for the Chips are really good and generous, I only ordered a small and it’s more than enough for me. I tried their curry sauce and its honestly so damn good, I will definitely be back and on a regular basis! Highly recommend to everyone that lives in the area and can drive!

Lovely service by a member of staff. Very chatty and welcoming. Foods delicious and fast! Portion size is great. Recommend the curry sauce with the chips 100%! Will come again soon!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of incredibly friendly staff members who went above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer service. The star of the show- the fish and chips plus the curry sauce. It was truly the best fish and chips I have had in quite some time. They made the curry sauce from scratch, so can't get this taste anywhere else and it's absolutely delicious. Additionally, the shop was spotless maintaining high standards of hygiene. Overall, I highly recommend Testwood Chef for anyone seeking exceptional fish and chips plus the outstanding service!

This spot has the tastiest and wallet-friendly Chinese food ever! Angela and her crew are always super nice and generous. Plus, the fish and chips servings are huge for the price, way better than other places.

Just move to this area and was recommended by one of the movers to try Testwood Chef for fabulous food. So nice to have fish and chips, and Chinese food in one place. My kids wanted sausages and chips, my husband wanted to try the chicken curry with Egg fried rice and I ordered 1/4 duck. Amazing food! Definitely recommend to other people. We will be back for sure.

Best Chinese in Totton!! My kids love to order the spare ribs peking style, it's sweet and a little spicy, great for all ages. My must order would be chicken Chow Mein and curry sauce, the best combo! Can't go wrong!! My wife must order chicken in lemon sauce, she went absolutely crazy during her pregnancy and she will never change, it is still her must have! Definitely our family favourite place to go! The customer service is great, we go there at least once a week, so when we roll up, they already know our usual. Too friendly and nice!
